All competitors are required to enter as an individual entry. The cost is $35 per participant – if you choose to add a Swimrun Wild swim cap there is an additional cost of $7 ea. There is a price increase of $5 for entries received between 2nd January and 4th January. On the day entries are not possible.
If you are participating as part of a team please tick the team box when entering – and enter your team name. Your teammate should do the same (choosing the same team name).
Location: First Basin, Cataract Gorge, grassed area near pool.
More details: Swimrun Wild returns to the iconic and majestic arena that is Launceston’s Cataract Gorge on Friday 5th January, 2024. This is the 5th event at this great location, and is the first Swimrun Wild event of 2024.
This course is short and sharp, and will have competitors completing 5 laps, each consisting of a 150m swim across the first basin, followed by a 400m dash around the gorge to the start.
Making use of a unique course which is located close to the Launceston city centre, this event is always memorable.
Grass, hills, water, dirt and rocks, come prepared and remember, you can bring a mate (teams of 2 ) , enter as an individual entry, and what ever you start with (equipment), you must carry throughout the event.

Entry numbers are limited & all competitors must be at least 16 years old.
Competitors 16-18 y.o. must attend registration with their parent or guardian to complete the waiver.
Spectators under 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
